Who we are. Joga Academy is a football academy operating in Calgary, Alberta and Vancouver / Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. For any privacy question or request, email [email protected].

What we collect. We only collect what you type into our forms. Depending on the form, that can include: the player's name, date of birth, age group and kit size; club, position and playing background; a parent or guardian's name, email address, phone number and city; emergency contact details; medical information you choose to disclose; your consent choices; a typed signature; links to footage you send us; and anything you write in a free-text field. Our newsletter form collects an email address only.

Why we collect it. To run the sessions and camps you register for, to keep players safe (medical and emergency information), to arrange session times with you, to answer your enquiry, and to send you updates if you asked for them. We ask for photo and video consent separately, and we honour a "no".

Who else handles it. We keep the list of third parties deliberately short:

— Web3Forms delivers our form submissions to our inbox. Your submission passes through their service on the way to us.

— Stripe processes every payment. You enter your card details on Stripe's own secure checkout page. Joga Academy never sees, handles or stores your card number. Stripe's privacy policy governs that step.

— Meta (Facebook and Instagram). We run ads for our camps and programs. Our website loads the Meta Pixel, which tells Meta when someone views a page, starts a registration or completes a payment, so we can measure whether our ads are working and avoid showing them to people who have already signed up. This uses cookies and similar technologies. You can control this through your Meta ad preferences, your browser's cookie settings, or a tracking blocker.

— Cloudflare hosts and serves this website.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone beyond the parties above and our own coaching staff, except where the law requires it.

Stored in your browser. If you fill in a camp registration but do not finish paying, we save a small note in your own browser's local storage so we can show you the payment button again when you come back, instead of making you retype the whole form. It stays on your device, we cannot read it remotely, and it clears once you pay or after two weeks. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Children. Our programs are for young players, and registrations are completed by a parent or legal guardian, who provides the player's information and gives consent on their behalf. We do not knowingly collect information directly from a child.

How long we keep it. Registration, waiver and payment records are kept for as long as we need them for the program and for our legal and accounting obligations. Enquiries and newsletter subscriptions are kept until you ask us to remove them.

Your choices. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will action it. Every newsletter we send has an unsubscribe option, and you can reply to any message asking to be taken off the list.

Security. The whole site is served over HTTPS and payments run through Stripe's PCI-compliant checkout. No system is perfect, but we keep the number of places your information lives as small as we can.

Changes. If we change this policy we will update the date above.
